Autumn Art

Over the past few weeks, we have been focusing on aspirational French artist Claude Monet and his art style: impressionism. We have explored creating our own background washes using watercolours, inspired by his watercolour paintings of his garden pond. We then moved on to experimenting with shade, tint and tone, adding both black and white to our paint to change its colour. We then added finer details to our background washes to create our own representations of The Wharf.
