School Closure Information

We understand how disruptive sudden closures can be and endeavour to always keep school open. However, in some, rare cases, it may become necessary to close the school to ensure children and staff are safeguarded. This could be as a result of adverse weather.

In this instance, the Head Teacher will make a decision to close the school and will give as much notice as possible to families.

Parents/carers will be informed in a number of ways:

• Text message to their nominated mobile phone number.
• The school website
• The school Facebook page
• The school Twitter feed
• Class Dojo

To support with this process, it is important that parents/carers keep the office updated with any changes to contact details.
