This week, our head boy and girl launched our new children's characteristics - aspiration, kindness, effective communication, confidence, pride, curiosity, responsibility, resilience and problem solving, to all 3 schools.
Our Head Boy and Girl visited the Flying High Trust HQ, to work with other schools in the Trust at the Children's Parliament. They are working on launching the new Trust Values. Watch this space to see the fantastic work they are doing.

Our representatives have had the most amazing day at the Student Leadership Conference at Nottingham Trent University. They had a tour of the university campus and are now raring to go with leading their own sustainability project back in school
The Pass Centre looks great for the Valentine's disco. Thank you to our school council on your suggestions for the decorations and to the arts and craft after school club for creating them.

Our Standards Team carried out an environment check this week at the juniors and will be sharing their findings with their teacher and classmates. There were lots of positives including, neat book shelves, tidy cloakrooms, and neat and tidy teacher desks!
During our first meeting of the Spring term, we came up with ideas for our Valentine's disco - we can't wait to see how our hall looks at the end of half term.
Our school council did a great job collecting signatures for our petition to have 20mph speed limits around our schools.

In this week's meeting we have looked at how we can make our playtimes even better. Our council members are going to get the views of their class and feedback after half term.
This term we have collected donations for the South Normanton Area Foodbank - we donated a fabulous 134.75kg of food! Thank you to everyone who donated
