Flying High Partnership
The Flying High Trust is a partnership of schools across Nottinghamshire, Nottingham City and Derbyshire. Schools work together to ensure we are relentless in ensuring our children receive the best possible opportunities and experiences. This is achieved through a true collaboration where all
decisions centre on children and schools are empowered to adopt best practice, adapt it within the context of each school and fly!

By the end of their primary education we aim for all of our children to be ready for secondary school and be inspired to be the best they can be through our seven values. The values are fundamental to everything the Trust represents; they run through all elements of school improvement and are understood and owned by all members of the school community. Schools with their own clear USP linked to their values blend together the Trust values with those held so dear within each individual school.

Inspiring Leaders
Train to Teach with Inspiring Leaders Flying High
Be part of something amazing.
Do you feel inspired by your child’s school, or know someone that would make a great teacher?
The Flying High Partnership works in collaboration with Inspiring Leaders Teacher Training to provide an ‘Outstanding’ School Centred Teacher Training Course.
Our one year route provides a blend of school experience based in our schools across Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire alongside an inspiring taught programme. This leads to the award of QTS and a PGCE in partnership with Nottingham Trent University.

By enrolling on our teacher training programme, you will be taking the first step on an exciting and rewarding career path. We aim to support and guide you through into employment. As a partnership, we believe every child deserves an outstanding education and to be inspired by the very BEST teachers – join us and this could be you!
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS FOR TEACHER TRAINING:
- A UK honours degree or equivalent at a grade 2:2
- Grade C or above in English, Maths and Science at GCSE or equivalent
