Please read the information below which gives details of our PE and Sport Premium Grant and how we allocate the funding.

2022-2023 Sports Premium

During the current academic year, we will receive the following funding:

John King Infant Academy £17,040

Kirkstead Junior Academy £18,130

Longwood Infant Academy £16,480

TOTAL £51,650

School Swimming

Y6 pupils who are able to:

Swim competently, confidently and proficiently over a distance of at least 25 metres: 90% 

Use a range of strokes effectively, for example, front crawl, backstroke and breaststroke: 90%

Perform a safe, self-rescue in different water–based situations: 100%

Pupils in Year 5 have the opportunity to access swimming throughout the entire academic year to ensure they reach the required standard. Additional booster sessions are organised for pupils who are not able to swim 25m after their swimming entitlement.
